Pupils Will Debate Ludlow War Curb Eighth Graders at St. Joseph's School Plan Discussion Next Friday Eighth grade students at St. Joseph's School, East Camden, will hold a debate on the Ludlow Bill next Friday at 2:30 p.m. Chosen for a two-fold purpose, subject matter for the debate will be the curricular pursuits of work in Civics and English. But an even more vital accomplishment of the debate will be the furthering of the resolution M. Moore Smith, faculty adviser and guardian of the class, to instill self-reliance and self-expression in the students. The Ludlow Bill, the subject of the debate, is proposed in the peace period of the country. It proposes to change the present law so that a national referendum would be taken before the country could go to war. Among the debate leaders are Helen Shaffer, Francis Hansan, Angela Bennett, Evelyn Coyne, Nelson Wood, Lillian Muldoon, Hugh Robinson, Edward McClafferty, Joseph Buscellero, Mary Allen, Margaret Kallfely, and Lillian Engle.
