S. Camden Man Hurt By Hit-Run Driver
A South Camden man pushing a cart on Kaighns ave. near Locust st. was seriously injured Friday night when he was struck by a hit-run car.
Herman O'Neal, 41, of 139 Spruce st., was admitted to West Jersey Hospital with fractures of both legs, a fractured right hip and multiple cuts and bruises.
Det. Sgt. Joseph Hooven, of the accident division, said the accident occurred at 10.30 p. m.
Hooven said the hit-run vehicle was black, about 10 years old with chrome trimming on the front. O'Neal told police the driver was alone in the car, Hooven said. Hooven also said he believed the car was damaged.
