Speakeasy Charge Follows Store Raid
Charged with conducting a speakeasy at the rear of his grocery store, Joseph S. Waligorski, 27, of 1498 South Tenth street, was arrested yesterday in a raid on his place.
Frank Middleton, chief ABC agent here, confiscated a case of beer and a half gallon of alleged liquor. Waligorski was being held in jail in default of $500 bail for a hearing in Police Court today. With Middleton in the raiding party were ABC Agents Myers and Riggins and Patrolman Kowal.
