The Terminal Block

On October 27, 1931 the Camden Courier-Post published an architect's conception of a proposed bus terminal for the block at 201–217 North Broadway — the Terminal Block. The drawing is a bird's-eye view: two long, low buildings occupy the block, with buses drawn alongside them and pulling out onto Broadway, and the surrounding street grid is sketched in with the Camden First National Bank and the Walt Whitman Hotel labeled on neighboring blocks. No article text accompanies the drawing on the source page; the item is the illustration and its caption.

The second image is a rendering of the Terminal Block as built, looking across the corner of Broadway and Cooper Street: a one-story row of storefronts with awnings along Broadway and a longer building running back behind it, with the street names lettered on the pavement. The source dates the block from 1947 to 2000.
