Showing that at the time of the fire they were working for Andrew Haehner, a contractor, Philip Tubman and Joseph Winslow, colored, were acquitted by Judge Boyle in the Camden Criminal Court of a charge of attempting to burn the house at 1821 South Tenth street, owned by H. D. Jones, who rented it to Tubman.
