The celebrated and fascinating game of "Upper," otherwise known as "Egg-Picking," is in full swing in South Jersey today. The "Upper" season is during the Easter holidays and the game consists of an effort by the possessor of one egg to break the egg of his competitor without fracturing his own. Anyway, it's something like that. In the photograph (left to right) are shown Vincent Zito, of 209 Line street, and Joseph Toriano, of 603 Avon street, engaged in the seasonal contest.
