Woman Fined $150 In Sale of Beer
Mrs. Dorothy Frye, of 218 Arch st., was fined $150 in Criminal Court today after Judge Naame found her guilty of violating state liquor laws.
A witness, John Steffany, of 736 Washington st., testified Mrs. Frye sold him beer last March 2 in the cellar of her home. Mrs. Frye denied selling the beer, testifying any beer or liquor on the premises was there for the use of boarders and was paid for by them.
