Money Showered on Children of Woman Struck by a Train
While picking coal along the tracks with her three little children, Mrs. Amelia Fisher, aged 47 years, of 947 Woodland avenue, Camden, was struck by the inbound express of the Atlantic City Railroad, near Broadway and Bulson street, yesterday, and outside of a severe shaking up escaped with a cut in the back about ten inches long. Cooper Hospital physicians say she will be all right in a short time.
When the engine pilot struck the woman she was hurled down an embankment. Train hands hurried back, expecting to find her dead body, but were surprised to see her sitting up and her three little children with their arms about her, crying as if their hearts would break. When the passengers learned of the accident dimes, nickels, quarters and half-dollars were showered on the little ones.
