High School & Early Career
Rasheer attended high school at Gloucester City Jr-Sr High School for his freshman and sophomore years, playing for the Gloucester Lions before transferring back to play for Camden High School. At Camden High, he competed alongside elite local talent and played on the Nike EYBL circuit with the New Jersey Scholars, building a national reputation for his size, energy, and versatile interior play.
Collegiate Career at Saint Joseph's University
Fleming committed to Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia, where he became a cornerstone of the Hawks' program across three seasons (2022–2025):
- Freshman Season (2022–23): Earned a spot in the starting lineup as the team's power forward partway through his rookie year.
- Breakout Junior Season (2024–25): Named First Team All-Atlantic 10 after averaging 14.7 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting 53.1% from the field and 39.0% from three-point range.
- Program Milestones: Ended his career as the 60th player in Saint Joseph's history to score 1,000 career points (finishing with 1,068 points). He also ranked 9th on the program's all-time blocked shots list with 135 career blocks.
