Rasheer Fleming
Rasheer Fleming was born in Camden, NJ on July 10, 2004 and as of 2025 is a professional NBA player for the Phoenix Suns.
Rasheer attended high school at both Gloucester City Jr-Sr High School for his freshman and sophomore years and, later, moved back to Camden to play for Camden High School. He went on to Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia and becoming the starter power forward part of the way through his freshman year.
Fleming was selected by the Minnesota Timberwolves with the 31st overall pick in the 2025 NBA draft and subsequently traded to the Phoenix Suns on July 6 in a seven-team trade.
Fleming's length (6'9" with a 7'4" wingspan), timing, and athleticism enable him to be a powerful rim protector and an impactful defender who can guard multiple positions. He excels at contesting shots, disrupting passing lanes with steals and blocks, and playing with great energy and effort throughout the game. His defensive instincts and ability to switch defensively are highly praised, drawing comparisons to players like Tari Eason. His quickness and recovery skills are notable strengths on defense.
