26th Street, originally called Union Street in the pre-annexation Pavonia section, runs through Cramer Hill and East Camden from the Delaware River to Bank and Mickle Streets. It was laid out before 1887 and renamed after Stockton Township was absorbed by Camden in 1899.
24th Street, originally designated Union Street, runs from the former Pavonia section through Cramer Hill and East Camden, extending from Harrison Avenue to Marlton Avenue. It is North 24th Street above Federal Street and South 24th Street below.
Death notice for Susanna Schneider, nee Braun, beloved wife of Joseph Schneider, of 711 Union Street (North 24th Street), Pavonia, who died March 17, 1899, aged 39. Funeral was held at St. Joseph's Church, Pavonia.
