Edwards, born in Leavenworth, Kansas, on November 2, 1892 and raised in Camden from 1898, trained at Drexel Institute and practiced in Philadelphia and Reading before opening his own office; in 1924 he formed the partnership Edwards & Green, with offices at 23–25 Broadway, Camden. By 1932 the firm was advertising as Byron H. Edwards, Inc.
