Mary Kauffman, 2 years old, of Viola street and Ferry avenue, was admitted to the Cooper Hospital yesterday, suffering from burns received from a bon fire. Neighbors contend that the child is neglected by its parents and has to depend upon the charity of others for something to eat. The case was recently investigated by the Overseer of the Poor, and the father, who is a baker, promised to make better provision for his children. The mother left home some time ago.
