Columbus Day was observed in Camden, principally among the Italians. Last night the Italian Knights of Columbus had a parade and a ball at the headquarters of the First Italian Republican League, 913 South Fourth street. Luigi Bentivoglia was marshal of the parade. Members of the Columbus Republican Association held a banquet at Columbus Hall, Third and Spruce streets, at which Frank Travis presided. The principal address was made by Mayor Charles H. Ellis.

Camden Lodge, Knights of Columbus, gave an entertainment at the Catholic Lyceum. Addresses were made by Rev. Joseph Egan, of Haddon Heights, and Lawyer William T. Boyle, of Haddonfield.
