Accused of breaking into the store of Harry Litchman, 1124 South Tenth street, Sunday night, Stephen Damski, aged 18 years, of Sycamore street, was committed to jail by Recorder Stackhouse. The defendant secured $5 in money and tobacco.
Failing to prove several alibis set up by him, Asbury Hammond, a negro of 250 Division street, was committed to jail in default of $700 bail by the Recorder on the charge of breaking into the house of Leonard Mecd, 324 South Second street, and stealing $38.
