In Jail, His License Revoked
Receiving from the court a certified copy of the conviction of Nicholas Verratti on a charge of keeping a disorderly house at his liquor saloon, 842 Locust street, the Camden Excise Board last night revoked Verratti's license. Verratti did not appear before the board, being in jail in default of the payment of a fine of $200. Transfers were granted as follows: Ludwig Buch, 2142-44 Broadway, to Emil Engel; George H. Jones, 400 Mickle street, to Caspar Lutz; William Lickfeld, 200 Mickle street, to Harry Wein; Robert Snyder, 339 Kaighn avenue, to James McCreary. The last named is a wholesale license.
