Owner Drops Charge in Tipsy Driving

Refusal of a Camden man to press a drunken driving complaint aroused the ire of Judge Mariano in police court yesterday.
The defendant was John Czetyrka, 48, of 1176 Morton street, who was charged by Elwood Urbanowicz, of 1328 Jackson street, with being the driver of an auto that struck his car early last Sunday and then hit a pole on Ninth street.
The case was postponed from Monday when Urbanowicz failed to appear in court.
Urbanowicz refused to press the charges. He told the court he was "sore" when he caused the arrest of the driver.
"Did the $25 paid for damages to your car relieve your soreness?" said the court. Then Mariano added: "Can you realize your own child being killed by a drunken driver?"
Mariano then postponed the case until July 29 pending further investigation against Czetyrka.
