Raid Alleged Disorderly Houses
While the alleged disorderly houses in the vicinity of Third and Spruce streets, Camden, have been fairly well cleaned up by the police, two raids were made yesterday by Captain Stanley and a squad of officers. They descended on the place of Mamie Tinsey, 240 Spruce street, and that of Josephine Quinn, of 807 Locust street. In the first instance seven and in the latter five were arrested as witnesses. A quantity of intoxicants was confiscated, according to the police. The principals were held for hearings before Recorder Stackhouse this morning.
