Fireman Charles Gladney, driver for Deputy Chief Patterson, was overcome by smoke while fighting a fire at the Wearwell Gasket Company on the second floor of the building at 32 North Third street, Camden. He was carried out by Fireman Edgar Ellender and quickly revived. The fire was quickly extinguished with a loss of $500.
