SOFT COAL CAUSES FIRE. Shortly before 10 o'clock Saturday evening the firemen at Twenty-seventh and Federal streets were called out to extinguish a fire in the chimney of the home of Victor Riegert, 401 North Forty-first street, caused by soot from soft coal catching fire in the chimney. No damage resulted, the blaze being put out with the chemical extinguisher.
