On behalf of Patrick Carr, a saloonkeeper, of Seventh street and Kaighn avenue, Camden, former Judge Westcott yesterday began suit to recover $10,000 damages from Police Captain Stanley, of the Second district. The action is the result of testimony given by Captain Stanley before the State Excise Commission, which was in Camden last Monday inquiring into local conditions.
