V. Raczykowski Dies at 78

Vincent Raczykowski, 78, founder and owner of the Newport Bottling Works, 1101 Morton Street, died Wednesday in West Jersey Hospital. A native of Poland, he lived in Camden 54 years and founded the bottling works in 1917.

He was a member of the board of directors of the State Beverage Distributors of New Jersey, a past president of the Polish National Alliance Lodge 45; and a past president of the Camden County Polish American Republican Club. He lived at the Morton Street address.

Surviving are his wife, Josephine; two sons, Stephen of Pennsauken and Bruno at home; and two grandchildren.

Friends will meet Monday at 8 a.m. in the Zembroski Funeral Home at 1643 Mount Ephraim Avenue. High requiem Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 10th and Mechanic streets. There will be a viewing in the funeral home Sunday night. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.
