One woman was among those given citizenship by Judge Kates in Camden yesterday. She is Mrs. Nancy A. Abbott, a widow, of 1741 Kossuth street. Mrs. Abbott is a native of Leicester, England. All but twenty-five of the 246 applicants for naturalization filed for this session of court were given their papers. Several were rejected because the draft records showed they sought to evade service on the ground of being aliens. One Italian said Mayor Ellis was head of the country and that each State elected thirteen Senators.
