Carman Street
Carman Street ran from Broadway through East Camden to Woodrow Wilson High School at South 31st Street, named for William Carman whose home stood at the corner of Broadway and Federal Street until 1902.
12th Street
Camden has two separate 12th Streets: North Twelfth, which once ran from Federal Street to the Cooper River before being largely erased by highway construction, and South Twelfth, which runs from Fairview Street to Lakeshore Drive and is lined with post-World War II rowhouses.
Cramer Street
Cramer Street runs east through the Cramer Hill and East Camden neighborhoods of Camden, NJ. Named for real estate developer Alfred Cramer, who sold more than 5,000 building lots in the area by 1897, it stretches from the 2600 to 3400 blocks.
Joseph A. Alcorn
Joseph A. Alcorn (1919-1958) was a Camden, New Jersey native and US Marine Corps veteran who founded Alcorn Motor Sales on Federal Street in East Camden.

Camden Bank, Business Bldg. Targets of Two Firebombings
Two firebombings struck Camden within 16 minutes of each other on December 22, 1971. The first was at 333 Arch Street, housing several businesses including the Puerto Rico Labor Department office. The second struck the Third National Bank of New Jersey at 27th and Federal Streets. Police impounded a red Volkswagen matching witness descriptions. There were no injuries.
9 Firemen Graduate In City Test
Nine of Camden's newest firemen, including Wayne Kraft of 1052 North 35th Street, graduated at fire headquarters at 3rd and Arch Streets and received their company assignments.
13 Given Oath at City Hall as New Firemen
Camden Courier-Post - December 30, 1955 Thirteen new firemen were sworn in today by Safety Director E. George Aaron in ceremonies at City Hall .

Emergency room cases at Cooper Hospital on December 28, 1931, including William May, 48, of 2118 Berwick Street, treated for bruises of chest and ribs after falling down stairs.
Arrest Follows Luring of Girl
Louis Mayer, 19, of near Twelfth and Federal streets, was held without bail to await Pennsylvania extradition on a charge involving a 14-year-old girl, Katherine Corkhill of Alberta street — though Mayer told a different story. (Camden Daily Courier, August 22, 1910.)
