Fire at 940 Haddon Avenue

On July 29, 2011, arsonists set fire to a building that had formerly housed a nail salon at 940 Haddon Avenue in the Parkside section of Camden. The unoccupied building was completely gutted. Firefighters contended with both the blaze and 90-plus-degree temperatures, and one firefighter, Dom Barrett, was treated at Cooper Hospital for heat-related issues.
