BATTALION CHIEF HURT RESPONDING TO ALARM Rollo R. Jones, 547 York street, battalion fire chief, was cut on the knee last night when his car collided with a coal truck at Broadway and Atlantic avenue as he was responding to a fire alarm. A bonfire set by boys near an old garage at Tenth and Pearl streets led a resident of the neighborhood to turn in the alarm. It was extinguished with no damage. According to Preston Russ, driver of the truck, Jones' car struck the rear of his machine. Jones was treated at West Jersey Homeopathic Hospital.
