Trenton, Oct. 6.—Five candidates passed the Camden Park guard civil service test, it has been announced by the commission here. Charles D. Phillips, of 121 North Twenty-third street, was first with 77.13. The others follow: Edward T. Beach, 943 St. John street, Camden, 77.25; Crawford M. Smith, 736 Carmen street, 71.13; Elmer D. Snyder, 316½ Mechanic street, 70.00. The work is seasonal and pays $25 a week.
For senior clerk-stenographer, Camden service, two passed. George R. Hood, of 111 North Forty-second street, with 88.95, and Alma C. McGhee, 208 Elm street, second, with 85.35.
Two passed for electrician's helper, Camden. Ralph E. Wood, of 608 Clinton street, had an average of 80.00, and Paul M. Brown, 576 Mount Vernon street, 79.00.
