Frederick Geissler, Ex-Councilman, Dies

After an illness of six months, former Councilman Frederick Geissler, 67, of the Eleventh ward, died Sunday at his home, 930 North Twenty-fourth street.
Mr. Geissler also served as a justice of the peace. He was a lifelong Republican. He was an inspector for the Camden Water Department and the New Jersey Water Company for years. During the past 10 years he conducted a barber shop at his home. He had lived in Camden 40 years.
Mr. Geissler was a member of Mozart Lodge No. 121, Free and Accepted Masons; the Gavel Club, Kane Arctic Lodge, No. 115, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, the Lincoln Association and the German Maennerchor.
The funeral will be held at 1 p. m. Thursday at 804 North Twenty-seventh street. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery. He is survived by his widow, Lena.
