Fugitive Leaps From Window

Taken by surprise after entering the home of John Hildebrand, at 564 North Twenty-seventh street, East Camden, Edward Finn, aged 17 years, of 2617 Howell street, leaped from the second-story window and escaped. He was arrested later by Detective Moffett and Murray and held pending a hearing before Recorder Stackhouse today. Finn told the police that after he had entered the Hildebrand house he heard someone coming upstairs and then leaped from the window. He secured $62 in cash and a gold watch and chain. He is also accused of robbing the home of Mrs. Maggie McClosky, at Second and Pine streets.
