Age and Youth Falls Before the Grim Reaper's Sickle

The funeral of John Haas, aged 55 years, the proprietor of the Junction Hotel, takes place this afternoon from his late residence, Sixth and Bridge avenue. He belonged to nearly all the German societies in the city. Those are invited to attend the funeral, as well as Cyrene Castle, No. 27, K.G.E.

William G. Dodel, aged 29 years, died at his residence, 1120 Maple street, last Sunday. The funeral will take place next Thursday, 25th inst.

Mr. and Mrs John A. Horne have the sympathy of their friends in the loss of their eight months' old son, John W. A. who died yesterday. The funeral will take place from his parents' residence, 414 Taylor avenue, tomorrow.

Mrs. Eleanor A. Cross, aged 68 years, wife of Reuben S. Cross, died yesterday. The funeral will take place on Thursday from her late residence, 417 Arch street.

The funeral of Harrison M. Dubois, six years old, who died yesterday of diphtheria, will take place to morrow [sic] from his parents' residence, 820 Walnut street.

William Ferguson, manager of the well known Ferguson Base Ball Club, succumbed to the ravages of typhoid fever at three o'clock this morning, after lingering nineteen days between life an death.
