George Gibbs, 39, 311 North Eleventh street, was sentenced to thirty days in the county jail yesterday when accused of stealing a purse from Mrs. Susie Lovett, Penn street near Tenth, after attending a party at her home.
Mrs. Lovett said she did not wish to press the charge, but Judge Bertman refused to entertain the request.
