Beacon Avenue
Beacon Avenue in East Camden begins at the intersection of Line Street and South 30th Street, crosses Waldorf Avenue and continues to the city line at Highland Avenue. The avenue continues into Pennsauken Township.
No houses stood on Beacon Avenue when the 1947 City Directories were compiled. Several nice brick homes were built in the following years, all of which are occupied in 2006.

30th Street
Thirtieth Street runs from the Delaware River south, across River Road to the Pavonia railroad switching yard, then to Westfield Avenue and on to Federal Street, and to the intersection of Line Street and Beacon Avenue, just above Waldorf Street. It is North 30th Street above Federal and South 30th below.
