Perry Street was a small street running south from 1044 Line Street for one block to Pine Street. By the 1960s it was razed along with Line Street east of St. Mihiel Street, including Jane and Ringold Streets.

Line Street was named for the final division line between the Cooper and Kaighn properties. Laid out as a twenty-foot alley and widened to fifty feet in 1848, it became the boundary between the Middle and South Wards.
