Cholera appeared in Camden. This was said to be the first appearance here of the disease in epidemic form.
Street names changed by ordinance passed May 24, 1832, as follows:
- King Street changed to Front Street
- Queen Street Changed to Second Street
- White Hall Street changed to Third Street
- Cherry Street changed to Fourth Street
- Cedar Street changed to Fifth Street
- Pine Street changed to Sixth Street
The original names of these streets appeared on the Joshua Cooper Map of the Town of Camden.
