Again Jail Indian on Girl's Charge

William May, the 22-year-old Indian who about a year ago stabbed himself because Elsie Staley, a young girl living at Eighteenth and Federal streets, refused to marry him was locked up in the county jail yesterday by Justice of the Peace Garrison, on a charge of threatening the life of Miss Staley and William Rose.
The girl said that May made the threat because he found her in the company of Rose. At one time she and May were close friends, but she had told him that she did not want to have anything to do with him and that he must cease his visits to her home. She told Prosecutor Scovel Saturday that she was afraid of May because of his temper. May at one time lived at the home of the girl and is said to be desperately in love with the young woman.
