Nine New Police From Nine Wards Mayor Van Hart Swears In New Recruits—5 More To Join Nine men, representing as many wards, were sworn in as members of the police department by Mayor Van Hart today. Five more men, residents of the five remaining wards, will be named within the next few days. The new appointments are being made to augment the number of traffic men and for additional police protection in the wards. The new policemen are as follows: Frank Murray, 817 Kimber street, Second ward; Edward C. Hahn, 938 North Fifth street, Tenth ward; Walter Christy, 2203 Howell street, Eleventh ward; Albert Yost, 3101 Waldorf avenue, Twelfth ward; Frank Pintozzi, 321 Cherry street, Fifth ward; John McTaggart, former fireman, 461 Lansdowne avenue, Sixth ward; Frank Sattler, 1268 Jackson street, Thirteenth ward; Walter Larson, 829 Sylvan street, Fourteenth ward; August Pflederer, 918 Pine street, Seventh ward.
