Street Improvements Started Street Commissioner Sayers yesterday began the work of improving nearly a score of streets throughout Camden. A gang of men was placed at work on Spruce street from Broadway to Sixth street. This will give a connecting link in the central portion of the city with asphalted thoroughfares. Trenton avenue from Newton avenue to Line street will be the next street repaved. All the asphalt is being turned out by the municipal plant at over $1 a square yard cheaper than could be obtained through private contract.
