YOUTHS DAZED BY RUM;
POLICE PROBE ORDERED
Two youths who were found in a semi-conscious condition as the result of drinking liquor, were held in $500 bail each yesterday by Judge Garfield Pancoast pending a police investigation.
They are George Burrell, 20, of 1208 Thurman street, and Dominick Ravieri, 17, of 325 Division street. They were arrested at Fourth and Chestnut streets by Police Lieut. Bakley. Bakley testified they were in such a stupor that it was necessary to take them to West Jersey Homeopathic Hospital where their stomachs were pumped.
The youths first declared they found the liquor, but after questioning by Judge Pancoast, admitted buying it in a South Camden speakeasy. They were held in bail for a further hearing next week. Pancoast ordered the police to learn where the youths obtained the liquor.
