Two boys were held by police and charged with carrying concealed .38 calibre revolvers after detectives found them loitering near the Sears-Roebuck Company on Bridge Entrance road.

Salvatore Garvano, 24, was dismissed by Judge Samuel M. Shay after being charged with beating two youths who had attacked his father with stones near Rose Street.

Two armed bandits robbed Briggs Cafe at Lansdowne Avenue and Louis Street of about $1000 in November 1947, then took a car, cash and a watch from two men who chased them; Camden police held three men for questioning.
