Leonard Avenue runs for one block, from Federal Street north to Westfield Avenue, between North 27th and North 28th Streets, in East Camden. The street and houses are on land that once had been part of St. Patrick's Cemetery. Permits were issued for 38 brick dwellings to be built on the new street on March 19, 1915.

Two Men Arrested After Auto Crash

After a March 1932 collision near Leonard Avenue and Federal Street, Basil P. Cook of 449 North Fifth Street and James Fenton of 834 North Sixth Street were arrested on charges including assault, threat to kill, and reckless driving, on complaint of C. N. Morrow of 7 North Twenty-eighth Street.
